# Rap lip sync and audio: choose the right workflow

Photo animation, original rap generation and lip sync to your own track are separate tasks. Use an audio-driven model when exact timing to an existing vocal is the goal.

## Matching example video

A single portrait performs a supplied song in a studio setting.

## Separate movement from sound

A photo-to-video model can generate expressive movement without producing a usable rap vocal. A reference-video model can follow performance motion without guaranteeing the words or a soundtrack license. Native audio generation can create new sound, but that is different from matching an uploaded recording. Do not assume that a mouth moving on beat means the syllables are correct.

## Prepare audio for a model that accepts it

Kie’s InfiniteTalk documentation describes image and audio inputs. Its currently documented limits are model-specific and should be checked before a request. For a test, use a short clean section with one intelligible lead voice and limited overlapping vocals. A loud beat, ad-libs and multiple simultaneous voices make visual timing harder to assess. The own-song template accepts a local audio selection; live audio upload remains disabled until a dedicated audio-driven model is configured.

## Use two separate listening passes

First listen without judging the image: are the lyrics, voice and music acceptable? Then watch the mouth against the important consonants and pauses. Finally inspect the full performance at normal speed. Fast rap can hide small timing errors when muted. An output can pass identity checks and still fail audio acceptance. Keep those outcomes separate and do not publish a lip-sync promise based on a silent preview.

## Prepare and submit your references

Select the matching template below, then choose one image for each slot. The local form accepts JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MB each and checks that the browser can decode them. Use photos you are allowed to process. If a validation message appears, replace only the affected image; the other selection stays available. Before live generation, verify the displayed service settings and cost. The current local build does not upload photos or create paid requests while generation is disabled.

## Review the result before sharing

A successful job status is only the start of reviewing a performance. Play from the first frame to the end, check both identities during movement and listen with sound enabled. Confirm the file opens on your phone, and check the publishing platform’s current aspect ratio and AI disclosure options. Download only a completed file belonging to your account. A concept illustration or an external sample cannot establish the result of your request.

## Performance direction

The left performer delivers a short original verse; the right performer reacts between lines. Keep their identities separate.

## Troubleshooting

Use similar camera heights so neither performer appears much larger.

## FAQ

### Can I try this without uploading my photos?

Yes. You can select templates and prepare photos locally. In this build, disabled generation retains your selection and makes no provider upload.

### Does this include a famous song or a cloned voice?

No. Neither selecting a template nor generating a performance grants a music license or promises a voice clone. Use original or properly licensed audio.

### What should I change if the result is wrong?

Use similar camera heights so neither performer appears much larger. Identify the failure before starting another request; a retry may have a separate cost once live generation is enabled.
