Make a rap lyric video people can read

AI Rap Video editorial · Updated October 25, 2026

Plan a rap lyric video using your track and readable timed words. The example shows captions over an illustrated music video.

Start from the final vocal and exact text

Use the version of the recording you intend to publish. A different intro or extra ad-lib shifts every later caption. Transcription can create a first pass, but names, slang and fast delivery need manual review. Keep repeated hooks in the text and mark instrumental sections rather than silently dropping time from the sequence.

Time phrases before individual words

Divide the verse into short phrases that fit a phone screen. Set phrase start and end times against the vocal, then add word-level emphasis only where it helps understanding. Fast word-by-word animation can make the text harder to follow. Avoid putting several lines over a busy face or a bright high-contrast moving background.

Export a readable version, then add style

Test the video on a real phone at ordinary viewing distance. Check text size, safe margins, spelling and the last word of each line. A lyric video should remain useful with sound low. This local workflow keeps an audio file and lyric text available for preparation; it does not claim to render timed captions or export a finished MP4 yet.

Prepare the right inputs

Your original song and its exact lyrics. No portrait is required. Check timestamps against the actual vocal, not the beat alone. Choose the corresponding workflow from the template page, and check the input labels before selecting files. A workflow that needs a vocal cannot be validated with two photos alone. If the form reports a file problem, fix that file before continuing. The local preparation step does not transfer selected files to a third-party provider.

Keep acceptance separate from preparation

After a real render is available, inspect the full output, listen to the audio and test the downloaded file on a phone. Keep the task ID and selected settings for troubleshooting. Rendering, payment, download and publishing are separate outcomes; one does not establish the others. Do not repeatedly retry a paid request without checking whether the previous task was accepted.

Performance direction

Build readable timed lyric cards. Keep line breaks meaningful and leave text on screen long enough to read.

Troubleshooting

Check timestamps against the actual vocal, not the beat alone.

Frequently asked questions

What files does this workflow need?

Your original song and its exact lyrics. No portrait is required.

Does the local form create a finished video?

No. You can prepare the required inputs locally. The model or rendering pipeline for this workflow must be configured and verified before live generation.

Can I use a popular song or another brand’s assets?

A template does not grant permission to use a recording, voice, likeness, character or logo. Use original assets or obtain the appropriate permission.
